The new library in Alta will officially open on December 1, 2009. The book mobile that has been in the parking lot of the Alta school has been closed for about ten days now, to allow the library staff to transition into the new facility.
Beginning Dec. 1, the hours for the new Alta Branch Library will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. And don’t forget to watch for new programs after Dec. 1.
