Idaho Gives is a 24 hour charitable donation event. On Thursday, May 2, 2013, Idahoans (or anyone that wants to give) will rally to donate to their favorite non-profits. The wonderful thing about THIS particular day, however is that the individual donation has more potency. A from midnight to 11:59 pm, a pool of money provided by sponsors will be used to match funds from individual donors. This is, of course tax deductible!
The top five organizations with the most unique donors (nonprofits are divided by size) will receive bonus grants of $3,000, $1,000, $500, $250, and $250 respectively.
