Homeowner's Exemption

I wanted to remind all of you that April 15th is the deadline for a primary resident in Idaho to file for either the Homeowner’s Exemption or Circuit Breaker.

The Homeowner’s Exemption is a document that will adjust the assessed value of a primary residence in Idaho and will mean a substantial savings for owners.

The Circuit Breaker is a property tax reduction that some owners may qualify for. It could reduce the taxes by as much as $1,320. There is a form that must be completed, and the County Assessor’s office will have more information.

To get more information on either tax benefit, please visit your County’s website. For Teton County, Idaho, click here.
