Marking the end of the 2010 Teton County Fair, the Figure 8 Races were a blast!  The driver in the accident was taken to the hospital, however she was released soon after.

The 3rd annual Tin Cup Challenge, and I was there again this year with my dog Isabella and my mom.  Mom came to visit and we made the decision to do the fun run/walk, right before we went to help with the Art Fair Jackson Hole for the day.  The Tin Cup Challenge is a benefit for many local non-profits, with some funds being matched by generous donors.  All in all the Tin Cup has been a huge success, and it’s a great way to see what the community has to offer.  For more information, please follow this link.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see our Summer Festival during the 4th of July, you’re missing out!  This morning, there were at least 15 hot air balloons covering Teton Valley, and it was the perfect start to a beautiful day!  The one I called “Mr. Potato Head” is actually Gizzmo the Gopher and he landed in our back yard.  Sorry for the choppy commentary, it was early in the morning, and I wasn’t quite with it.  For more information and a schedule of events for this weekend, follow this link.

I have to give a shameless plug to my husband, Travis . . . I’m sorry.  This year, he will be an artist featured in the Art Fair Jackson Hole .  He will be selling his amazing metal art/tables/lamps/etc. July 16, 17, 18.  I’ll of course be there helping, so we would love it if you would stop by and give Steel Tech and Design a kind hello!

The Art Fair Jackson Hole was established in 1965 and it brings many diversified artists to the community.  There are all types of media represented at the Art Fair, and not only is the shopping amazing, the entertainment is as well.  In 2010, there is an Art Fair in July (16,17,18) and August (20, 21,22).  There are up to 170 artists from the area as well as around the world.  For more information, including dates and entertainment, follow this link.

Not long ago, I went to Donkey Basketball at Teton High School.  Both the teachers and students participated, and it was really funny.  I know it’s not real estate related, but I thought you all might enjoy some of the “nuances” of entertainment in an agriculturally based community.
